The Prodigal (1955)

I watched "The Prodigal" the other night, from 1955. It´s about a hebrew man who leaves his old life when he's seduced by the enchanting priestess Samara. It's based on a biblical story (and in this case full of shitty moral).

I really like Samara, who is played by Lana Turner. The movie is from the fifties and one must remember that while watching it. The view of women is outdated and at first sight one could think Samara is just a filler. But she's actually pretty badass. And she wears the most amazing costumes and hairdos. ♥
